Well Zellie

Dear child this is Tuesday morning the 31 of Aug 1920  I am tolerable well  had a bad spell the other night  I got stopt up  I had to set up in the Bed and Doctor  I was so phleged up but Jennie had come up Friday and she was here  Just as good as Old Wheat in the Mill.  Jennie Stade several days until I got better and Jennie sed just call or send for her  she Would come any day and stay until I got Well   Oh she is so good to me

Poor Freddy she comes over and Ses Just send for her at midnight  she Would come but I am Well now doing the best Rink? dont think a word about me Or home  We are doing all right god is With us and I just use my old toung and do just What I Wanto do  now you and Daniel just inJoy your selves and stay and have a good time Once in your life  Thare Will be a lot of hard Work to do When you come home  the tomatoes have took the Blight  I supposed that they wont be much trouble to us

Oh Zellie do please Bring me a large size Black Stocking  I cant find a pare about the house  dont forget them  tell me Where is Verdy and Dary? and you [unreadable due to the fold in the paper] your self and how is Daniel   May god take care of both of you and guide you home When you Wanto  come
