We are all tolerable Well do hope that you are Well and inJoying yourSelf fine. Zellie you must not come back until you go to see Nettie I got a letter from her the other day and it was sad. The She sed in her letter that she did not want aneyone to Shed tears over her Grave that did not come to comfort her in sorro With her Sad hear I wrote to her Just a day or so ofter you left and told her that you was coming that Way I never sed if Daniel Was or not and she wanted (2) to no Why Pap Was not coming to see her now I tell you Zellie you be shore and go to Nettie and take your pap along With you and Stay a Weak any Way. Nettie is verry Sad and hart Broken. I suppose she think you can stay Weaks at Washington but not with her now I say you must go to see nettie. I like Aunt Hannah Snyder and Want her to come to see me for shore but I want some Sugar and greece and Salt and Someone that understands cooking I will tell you I dont Wnat no one to come. Or beds and table is crouded and I am tired of it. Our house is confutions [confusion?] and dirt I may stand it until you come home I dont no but you Just stay long as you (3) Wanto the girls dos all right and I am just as allWays I Will right if I want you to come dont be uneasy about home or me We are getting along all right dont you no that Wils Dolly stole out his big copper kettle one night and next morning took my good new kettle frame that I paid too Dollars and a half for Oh but I do hate it I holered at hime be he Just went on on [sic] his horse he hant been back since I got so trouble and mad I could not sleep that night Oh Zellie could you get me a can or too of Psalm aus? I like them so well Oh it dont matter if it is any trouble to you but I want some stockings 2 pare of Black stocking they dont need to be so awful bigg (4) but I Want thick stockins as you can get Well I must quit writing I haf to get up 20 times I think while I try too Write a letter.
